As a breeder it is your responsibility to check the pedigree compatibility between bitch and stud dog. It is also recommended that checks are made for any inherited illnesses as it is your responsibility to make sure that the litter is as healthy and fit as possible.

Your dog may carry breeding restrictions from their breeder and therefore you must get this checked before proceeding. Normal procedure is for the bitch to come to the stud dog's home or kennel and the mating process can occur here.
