Hi - all advice welcome

I am planning to buy a jug puppy tomorrow - it will not have had jabs, is that normal? I can see it with its mother, but have to arrange a time to visit...............does it sound legit to you experienced people?

kind regards

The puppy gets some immunity from the mothers milk,so you have to wait for that to decline before the vaccine can be effective.Your vet will advise you ,but first shot is usually at 8 weeks old and the second at 10 or 12 weeks after which you must wait another 2 weeks for the immunity to build up before taking the puppy out and about. Most people require callers to come by appointment, you cannot expect to just turn up at any time if it is a private house.Good luck with your new baby.
